We understand that orthodontics is a personal, as well as a financial, investment, which is why we fit orthodontic treatment into your lifestyle and budget! Many of our patients have questions regarding fees and financial arrangements. For your convenience, our practice offers several payment options:
- In-Office Financing: We offer flexible financial arrangements with a minimal down payment and zero interest. Orthobanc draft option is available.
- Pay-in-Full Option: If you should decide to pay-in-full at the beginning of treatment, we will extend a courtesy discount.

How does orthodontic insurance work?
There are many different agreements between insurance carriers and their subscribers, and each contract provides a different benefit. Orthodontic insurance generally differs from regular dental insurance in that each insured individual usually has a lifetime maximum benefit for orthodontic services. This benefit is paid as a percentage of the orthodontic fee (diagnostic record, initial fee, monthly payments, etc.) until the benefit maximum has been reached. Charges for lost or broken appliances may not be covered by insurance.
How does this office assist you with insurance?
For your convenience, we are flexible about our payment plans and do accept payment from most insurance companies. We will gladly assist you in submitting initial insurance claims about charges for care rendered in our office. However, please be aware that our primary financial relationship is with our patients or their families and not with their respective insurance companies. Financial arrangements can be made based on your estimated insurance benefit; however, any outstanding insurance claims not paid are the responsibility of the patient or the patient’s family.
- Know what your benefits are before treatment starts. If you are not sure, contact your insurance company so that you know exactly how much you can expect to be paid and when to expect payment to be made. Our office will verify your coverage as well.
- If you would like our office to submit claim forms, we ask that you provide us with the name, address, and telephone number of your insurance carrier.
- We cannot render services on the assumption that our charges will be paid by an insurance carrier. However, for your convenience, we will accept payments from your insurance carrier assigned to us by the insured. Such payments will be credited to your account.
- If your carrier requires verification of continuing treatment or provides a form for verification of continuing treatment, we will gladly submit the appropriate information.
- For medical reimbursement accounts, also known as Flex accounts, you may use a copy of your canceled check or receipt of payment provided by our office.
- When you sign your finance contract, you will notice that it is for the entire treatment fee, minus your estimated insurance, but if for any reason your insurance does not pay as expected, the balance becomes your financial obligation.
